Office of the Director

Jennifer Doyle was appointed Director of Bishop Anstey High School East and Trinity College East and Sixth Form in September 2015. She graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology: Diploma in Education and Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Education. She attended Fellowship Programmes at the University of Birmingham, UK and Harvard University Graduate School of Education, USA where she studied International Education Systems, Improving Quality in Education Systems and Building Quality Schools.  She is a certified Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor and certified Professional Development Designer Trainer and Presenter.

Ms Doyle has over 40 years experience as an education practitioner at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.  She has worked extensively as a classroom teacher and School Supervisor 1, 11 and 111 with the Ministry of Education, Trinidad and Tobago. Through her commitment and dedication to school improvement, school success and the establishment of quality schools, Ms Doyle was appointed Team Leader of the Ministry of Education’s (1) The Ministerial Performance Management Framework,  a management tool to assess, strengthen and manage the performance of the Ministry of Education (2)The Child Friendly School Project which emphasized a rights-based child friendly education system and schools (3) The Quality Review Schools Project which focused on conducting assessments and evaluation on the performance of schools  (4) Review of Quality Standards for the performance of schools. She has presented at local, regional and international conferences.

Her belief in collaborative work, has led to her drive to incorporate the tenets of effective school leadership, good governance, professional learning, student participation and parental involvement as forerunners in student and school success.

She is currently the Executive Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (TTASCD) and a member of the international ASCD.
